About

We partner with leaders in health startups to enable growth and put plans in place to address the biggest challenges they face now and in the future.

We work with organisations whose mission is to contribute to achieving better health by developing innovations that improve the delivery of healthcare, patient outcomes and design health technology preventing illness such as wearables and software.
Our quest is to achieve the highest attainable standard of health for everyone while helping our clients turn their ambition into a reality.

We’ll take you and your team through our tried and tested, step by step process to understand where your biggest opportunities and challenges lie. After working together to conceptualise the transformations you’d like to make, we’ll help you to develop the plan and continue to offer guidance and review results on an ongoing basis. This can be applied to any part of your organisation: sales, marketing, finance, operations, process and technology.

Can we work together? We only work with organisations that focus on making a positive difference, and take the wellbeing of their teams seriously. You need to be open to thinking about things differently and willing to participate in the process. There are 5 stages to the method:

Who we are working with…

The Fit Mama Way

The Fit Mama Way is a health and fitness app designed specifically for mothers. It aims to support maintaining a healthy lifestyle through various stages of motherhood, including pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.

Your Advisor worked with The Fit Mama Way Founder and CEO, Mari-Carmen Sanchez-Morris. Conducting research including with midwifery leaders to support The Fit Mama Way investment strategy. We investigated concerns in maternal NHS safety and whether our current system is providing optimised patient outcomes.

“I approached Suzanne to support my go to market strategy for the NHS and because she has a lot of experience in supporting organisations providing products and services to the NHS. I gained a huge amount of knowledge with the maternity services research Suzanne and her team conducted. I am really pleased to be able to use Suzanne’s advisory services on a flexible basis when I need external input.”

Get Autism Active

Get Autism Active was founded by two time Fulbright Award Winner and movement specialist, Dr Susan Crawford, to raise awareness and understanding of how best to support adults and children with Autism.

We worked with Susan to review progress to date and develop the strategy to bring the award winning training, materials and toolkits to markets outside of Ireland.

Dr Susan Crawford, Get Autism Active’s CEO said:

“After delivering thousands of training sessions across Ireland, educating more than 1 million people on the way we support adults and children with autism, I knew we needed to take this program internationally. Our collaboration with Suzanne and her team was fundamental in helping us define our global market strategy and bring business growth to the next level.”

“This process with Suzanne is a brilliant opportunity to really stand back and look at what we have achieved and how many people we have helped. The Autistic population and the rest of the Neurodivergent population are significantly underserved so it is incredibly important we continue to support them. I am excited to be working with the Your Advisor team to help us with international expansion.”

Feedback from some of the team involved in the project:

“Having benefited from Susan’s training sessions, my organisation has been able to implement strategies to accommodate neurodivergent people better. It is amazing to see the extent to which simply having the right education about such an important part of our community can have such a big impact on someone’s life. We found it very beneficial to be part of the review project and share our outcomes from the training with Susan and the Your Advisor team”.

Cognitant Group

Cognitant enables healthcare organisations to connect engage with patients using interactive and immersive digital content. We familiarised ourselves with the Cognitant business through lin-depth research calls with the team and Cognitant’s customers. The report we produced as a result of this work highlighted several recommendations, and we worked with them to build a plan to succeed.

Dr Tim Ringrose, Cognitant’s CEO said:

“Cognitant Group is five years old so this felt like a great time to do a sense check on what we have achieved, how we work with partners and clients, how the team works together and how we can make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead of us. Suzanne quickly understood our mission and value proposition and conducted a very thorough and thoughtful evaluation that really got us thinking about some important challenges and opportunities.

“The team really valued the opportunity to feed their thoughts and experiences into the process and enjoyed the interaction with Suzanne and her team.”

Feedback from some of the team involved in the project:

“I hope this process will grow over time, to have more 360 feedback within the company around overall company direction and decision making – that will ensure key voices and stakeholders are involved in the process, especially if they weren’t before.

“It’s a good investment from the company to be doing this and certainly from the clients perspective. If we can show we’re listening to clients, we’re listening to patients, that starts to become a really compelling story and that we have confidence in what we are offering to patients and clients.

“It’s been really valuable to have a “health check” of the business. When you are living and breathing your business it can often be hard to lift your head up and look objectively and critically at how things are operating, how your team interacts and how you should adapt to the changing environment. We’re already putting in place many of her recommendations and already seeing a positive impact.”
